Exhibition The Golden Age of Peterhof – From Peter I. to Catherine II. present a joint project of Slovak National Museum-Museum of History in Bratislava and and Peterhof State Museum – Reserve.

Peterhof. The famous fountain capital of Russia created by the will of Emperor Peter the Great. The historical area of the summer residence embodies the artistic movements, architectural styles of the era and tastes of its great founder, and later, all of his successors, members of the ruling dynasty. During the 18th century, Peterhof, a part of political, social and cultural life of the state, mirrored the historical development of Russia and was an "encyclopedia" of court life and the life of the House of Romanov.

Exhibition presents life in Peterhof under governance of Peter I. until Catherine II.
