Permanent exhibition of Jewish culture in Slovakia


Permanent exhibition which opened in May 1993, introduces visitors to the history and culture of Jews in Slovakia since the Great Moravian Empire. Two and three-dimensional exhibits acquaint visitors with the everyday life of the Jewish people: their holidays, interior of synagogues and Jewish personalities who became known throughout Slovakia. The end of exhibition is dedicated to the memory of about 70,000 Holocaust victims from Slovakia. Bratislava´s permanent exhibition is installed at the Zsigray Mansion on Židovská Street no 17.
