I’m Coming from My Childhood, As If from Some Other Land

The SNM - Museum of Jewish Culture will open the exhibition entitled “I’m Coming from My Childhood, As If from Some Land” by award-winning Israeli illustrator Anat Warshavsky on the occasion of the 30^th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the Slovak Republic and the State of Israel and the 75^th anniversary of the independence of the State of Israel. The exhibition project presents Warshavsky’s work through dozens of illustrations from four children's books, including The Penguin Café at the Edge of the World by Nurit Zarchi, for which she won the BIB Award for 2019. BIBIANA, the International House of Art for Children, is the co-organizer of this exhibition and its curators are Tanya Sternson (Israel) and Michal Vaněk (SNM – Museum of Jewish Culture).
