Slovak National Museum - Spiš Museum in Levoča as an administrator of the NKP Spiš Castle would like to inform you that the condition of the construction structures of the Spiš Castle is critically damaged and may cause an immediate threat to the cadastral area of the Spišské Podhradie and Žehra municipalities.
The museum asks the public to limit their movement to designated access roads or properly marked paths and to respect the total prohibition of entry and movement along the foot of the hill, at the castle gate and near the castle walls. In this area there is an acute risk of falling loose stones and the immediate danger to life.
