Erecting of the Maypoles and love customs presented by folklore groups and ensembles.
May 12 Beskyd, Beskyd / Beskyde, Beskyde
Traditional culture, customs and crafts of the Javorníky and Beskydy region.

Children folklore groups' performances and various attractions for children.
June 9 Turiec Folklore Festival / Turčianske slávnosti folklóru
The 35rd annual of the Turiec region's folklore festival. It is a festival of folklore ensembles, children folklore ensembles, country folklore groups, folk music and solo players. The part of the program is an event Today an Apprentice, Tomorrow a Master with presentation of traditional craft in works of secondary school's students. On June 8 there will be an accompanying program presenting folk music and community theatre.

July 14 Turiec Harmonica /Turčianska harmonika
The 17th year of an event dedicated to harmonica players from the Turiec and other regions.

Folklore, customs, traditional crafts and modern art handicrafts of the Roma people living in Slovakia.
August 11 Flax Sunday / Ľanová nedeľa
Processing of textile raw materials; folk clothing and its place in traditional culture.
August 25 Harvest Festival / Dožinky
Celebration of the harvest works as presented by folklore groups, traditional grain processing presentations including manual threshing and grinding, traditional grain foods.
September 8 The Man and Nature / Človek a príroda
Learning about animate and inanimate nature, presentation of its beauties and protection.
September 29 St. Michael's Fair / Michalský jarmok
Traditional annual fair of folk producers and craftsmen from the northwest Slovakia and other regions.
October 13 When the Winter Asks You / Keď sa zima opýta
Traditional processing of agricultural crops, potatoes in traditional and contemporary culture, tasting potato foods.
December 8 Christmas in the Countryside / Vianoce na dedine
Advent and Christmas customs, walk-about carol-singers and St. Nicholas with his companions, making Christmas decorations, baking waffles, gingerbread decorating.
