Food, drinks, dreams…
The new exhibition of the Slovak National Museum – Museum of Hungarian Culture in Slovakia, Food, Dreams, Drinks... Everyday Life and Holidays of the People, presents the folk culture of Hungarians living in Slovakia through significant material and spiritual heritage from areas such as traditional agriculture, domestic crafts, household work, home culture, clothing, folk art, and customs from the mid-19th century to the present day. The themes are depicted through museum collection items, complemented by photographs by László Albert Arany and Július Lipcsey from the 1940s and 1950s.
The exhibition is supported by: the Ministry of Culture of the Slovak Republic, the Fund for the Support of National Minority Cultures.
