Upozorňujeme návštevníkov na mimoriadne uzatvorenie múzea.
V pondelok 11 . 5. 2026 budú priestory SNM – Historického múzea na Bratislavskom hrade pre verejnosť zatvorené.
Jedinou výnimkou je výstava Tvar duch: Sila a krása afrického umenia (Severné hradby), na ktorú sa v tento deň dostanete len Mikulášskou bránou (severovýchodná brána pre peších, vstup je bariérový). Z technických dôvodov je momentálne platba možná len v hotovosti. Cena vstupného na výstavu je 6€ (zľavnený lístok 3€).
Za túto mimoriadnu zmenu a obmedzenia spôsobené z technicko-prevádzkových dôvodov sa ospravedlňujeme.
Uzávera sa môže týkať aj veľkej časti areálu Bratislavského hradu, ktorý bude uzatvorený aj v utorok 12. 5. 2026.
Múzeum svoje brány plne otvorí opäť v stredu 13. 5. 2026 o 10:00. SNM – Historické múzeum je mimo výnimočných uzáver otvorené od stredy do pondelka od 10:00 do 18:00 (posledný vstup o 17:00)

We would like to inform our visitors about an extraordinary temporary closure of the museum.
On Monday, 11 May 2026, the premises of the SNM – Museum of History at Bratislava Castle will be closed to the public.
The only exception is the exhibition The Shape of the Spirit. The Power and Beauty of African Art (Northern Defensive Walls), which on this day you can exclusively reach via the Nicholas Gate (the north-eastern pedestrian entrance; this route contains stairs). Due to technical reasons, payment is currently possible in cash only. Admission to the exhibition is 6 EUR (3 EUR reduced admission).
We apologize for this change and for the inconvenience caused by technical and operational reasons.
The closure may also affect a large part of the Bratislava Castle complex, which is expected to remain closed also on Tuesday, 12 May 2026, as well.
The museum will fully reopen on Wednesday, 13 May 2026, at 10:00. Except for extraordinary closures, the SNM – Museum of History is open from Wednesday to Monday, from 10:00 to 18:00 (last admission at 17:00).
