How to Get to Our Museum?
By car/by bus: take the road from the villages of Častá and Píla (follow the information traffic signs). The road is suitable for buses as well. There is free parking at unguarded parking lot by the castle.
By bus: the SAD bus stop is located directly by the castle at the beginning of castle meadow. For specific information go to: www.cp.sk – type “Častá, Červený Kameň’ in the browser. More bus lines run through the village of Častá – the name of the nearest stop to the castle is Základina. The castle is located 2 km from there.
By train: the nearest train stations are in Trnava (ca 25 km) and Pezinok (ca 15 km).
On foot: the yellow and green trails pass around the castle – the yellow trail goes from Zochova chata to Častá and the green trail goes from Modra (via Harmónia) to Sološnica. Good tourist maps will allow you to reach the castle by hiking through woods and meadows.
Access for Disabled Persons
The castle grounds but not the stops on the guided tours are barrier free.
