Departmental Collection of the Evangelical Lyceum in Bratislava
Discover the beauty of an old collection in the spirit of the past. The exhibition presents one of the oldest preserved collections in Slovakia. It contains over 1,000 Egyptian, ancient, prehistoric, medieval, and modern artefacts. We present it with the aim to explain the significance of objects that attracted collectors and to evoke the atmosphere of a historical school cabinet. The Egyptian section is the largest collection of artefacts from ancient Egypt in Slovakia, with several very interesting pieces. The collection of ancient Greek ceramics is also remarkable.
