Educational Activity for the Students of Primary Art School in Modra
Since 2020, the Slovak National Museum – the Ľudovít Štúr Museum in Modra actively works on the project ClayDay – Magic of Clay. The project includes also works with public, in addition to guests, who as traditional visitors were invited to the exhibition of Norwegian porcelain and Clay fest, employees prepared the educational activity for primary art school students in Modra.
On October 10 in the afternoon, curators Viera Tarkayová and Agáta Petrakovičová Šikulová met with the students of art department and discussed ceramic tradition in Modra. The activity included also visit to the Museum of the Slovak Ceramic Sculpture, the studio of Martin Dzurek and art class consisting of ceramic own designs.
The curators informed not only about pottery traditions, but also about artistic freedom perception, ethnic, gender and religious tolerance.
